Keppel Data Centres: Subject Matter Expert (Electrical)


The Subject Matter Expert (Electrical) is one of the critical roles within Keppel DataCentres facilities. The SME is tasked with attaining the highest levels of proficiency in the operation and maintenance of the electrical equipment in the Data Centres They are also responsible for overseeing all the activity in and around this equipment while supporting the Data Centre Managers.

The SME takes ownership and accountability for the governance of the Electrical infrastructure within the data centres and monitors 3rd party suppliers and deliverables including the management of training to other employees of Keppel. The SME will also take responsibility for the proactive and continuous improvements projects. The SME will work as a key contributor to the sustainability committee.

The Subject Matter Expert will need to have a broad understanding of electrical systems and equipment function and will be responsible for ensuring procedure-based electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, training, and project oversight. The candidate will need to be experienced in Low Voltage & Medium Voltage power distribution with HV authorised training, electrical protection & controls systems, UPS & battery systems, electrical testing, applicable electrical codes & standards, and must have a basic understanding of mechanical systems.

Keppel Data Centres: Data Centre Supervisor


The DCS will provide a central support role across all Dublin sites to ensure that every site is operating to a set of consistently high standards in line with the Data Centre Managers and following procedures laid down by the business unit. They are to share and recommend best practices across sites looking for opportunities to streamline activities where appropriate to meet or exceed customers’ expectations

The DCS will take responsibility for the H&S audits and meetings across both sites and work with the DC Managers and Critical Facilities team to manage any risks out of Operations. The DCS will take ownership and accountability for the governance and deliverables of client-based service delivery and small site projects. The position will be required to deputise for the DC Managers in their absence.
