ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Directors. Responsible for the day-to-day planning, coordination, and control of LPI projects; liaise with clients and respond to all inquiries related to the Projects. The purpose of the role is to install lightning protection and earthing systems on a variety of structures across all forms of private, public, industrial, commercial & Data Centre sectors.
Responsibilities:
Install lightning protection and earthing systems on Data Centres and variety of tall structures. This will involve working to pre-designed schemes including drawings, a risk assessment and method statement.
Undertake upgrades to existing lightning protection systems to specified instructions provided.
Accurately complete Company paperwork including point of work risk assessment, job sheets, marked up drawings, material schedules and timesheets and ensure this is returned to the office-based team.
Provide onsite communications and advice to either the client or managers of a project, ensuring the Company is professionally represented at all times.
Requirements:
Applicants must have excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in the field is essential specifically with installation of Dehn HVI System or equivalent.
Experience working on commercial and industrial projects.
Good knowledge and commitment to health and safety standards and protocols and good knowledge EQHS Management System.
TUV Health & Safety training or equivalent
Manual Handling training.
Working At Height training.
IPAF training.
