Host in Ireland is a global initiative created to increase awareness for how and why digital infrastructure coming from Ireland – with global and Irish companies – plays a unique role around the world. Executive Committee members evaluate the performance of the initiative, review, monitor and assess the progress, serve as the advocate for their specific partner companies, and gather input from and serve as a liaison with relevant constituencies.
In addition, Executive Committee members provide feedback from the community, provide technical expertise, serve as an independent, unbiased sounding board, and assist in determining important activities. Other responsibilities that members have had as part of the Executive Council include providing guidance to articulate the goals of the initiative, ensuring effective planning, and enhancing the organisation’s public standing.
