ABOUT THE ROLE
Main Areas Of Responsibilities
Provide technical support for Data Centre projects from inception to shipment.
Provide engineered solutions, application and product support to key customers, sales managers and representatives.
Gains a comprehension of customer design requirements through the review of specifications, drawings and customer interface. With this knowledge, develops designed solutions and equipment selections.
Prepares cost estimates by studying specifications, plans and related customer documents, consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel.
Provide technical support and assistance to Munters site team & customers.
Support engineering team during factory acceptance tests (FAT’s).
Preparation of documents such as quotations, data sheets, technical submittals, order forms & O&M’s as per project requirements.
Develops customer’s knowledge by providing technical information.
Provides timely and accurate response to all support requests.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Travels as needed in support of customer, sales managers, and representatives.
Most Relevant Qualifications, Education And Training
Third level qualification in Engineering or higher.
Strong organizational & communication skills.
PC skills including use of MS Office Suite & CAD.
Experience with air & water thermal load calculations using mass flow rate, delta T & specific heat capacity etc.
Familiar with psychrometric calculations.
Familiar with refrigeration cycle & components.
Experience using selection tools for pumps, fans, coils, compressors etc.
Most Relevant Previous Work Experience
Minimum 4 years experience working in a similar role.
