ABOUT THE ROLE

With strategic locations across Europe and more recently into the UAE, LPI Group directly employs over one hundred proficient employees to service these markets.


We are currently looking for a Construction Project Quality Assurance / Quality Control person to join our team.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop quality plans, ITP’s, documents, and systems

  • Work with our Client to ensure that their Quality standards & procedures are successfully submitted, approved & implemented against agreed timelines on site.

  • Completion of site Audits

  • Advise Management on QA issues.

  • Ensure that all documentation and certification is complete and checked prior to final handover, including as built drawings and handover certificates.

  • Attend and co-ordinate weekly meetings with the client, subcontractors, suppliers or project managers.

  • Reporting to the Quality Manager and Construction Manager on Quality performance for each project

  • Arranging site installation inspections

  • Continuous quality inspections of the works as they progress in line with Inspection Test Plan (ITP)

  • Arranging, attending, and Documenting benchmark and FOK inspections

  • Generation of Internal Punch lists from W1 walks and Arranging Attending and Documenting close out of all punch items.

  • Management of Walkdown schedule and Punch allocation to all direct and sub-contractors.

  • Set up and continuous population of Turnover Packs in accordance with project requirements.

  • Working with our clients’ online systems to upload handover packs.

  • All other duties associated with this role.


Role Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role or associated role is preferred

  • Good Knowledge of electrical/construction procedures

  • Good Knowledge or Experience working with BIM

  • Good IT skills with proficient knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project & document controlling platforms

  • Strong leadership skills with a tested and proven desire to motivate individuals and hold team members accountable for Quality performance.

  • Degree in QA/QC or equivalent discipline desirable but not a necessity

  • Demonstrate a keen understanding of strategic planning as well as tactical execution.
