Due to another internal promotion at Tate, we are searching for a passionate and driven Projects Engineer to join our team.


This role is office-based, Monday to Friday in Ballyfermot within our bustling head office. We have plenty of off-site parking and we are a 15-minute stroll to the LUAS stop.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This role will require strong problem-solving skills, impactful communication and collaboration skills and a passion for excellence. As an integral part of our Production Team, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the design processes for CNC robotic welding, manual welding, and 3D SolidWorks design. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise and drive innovation in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment. You will also be responsible for:

  • Designing processes for both manual and robotic welding.

  • Programming the robotic welder and ensuring optimum weld paths for Hot Aisle Containment (HAC) components

  • Producing detailed drawings, cutting lists and other production data.

  • Working closely with the manufacturing department and other internal teams.

  • An honours degree in Engineering, specifically mechanical or similar

  • 3D tooling design experience, SolidWorks preferred

  • Both CNC Programming knowledge and welding knowledge would be highly regarded

  • An analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to address complex engineering challenges.

  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Full working rights in Ireland
