Our department

The Clients & Markets team provides our legal and business service teams with support across all communications channels including internal communications, public relations, digital marketing, publications (e.g. brochures, flyers), and legal directories.

We are responsible for building and protecting our global brand positioning, from Executive messaging and crisis management, through to communicating major change management projects, employee brand messaging, and celebrating our successes.

We work in close cooperation with our legal and business service teams to ensure their messages reach the right audiences, including engagement with the media and social media platforms, and our internal communications channels.

The Role – Marketing Director (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract to undertake the role of Marketing Director. The role leads a team of a Marketing Manager, Marketing Executive and Marketing Assistant the role also works alongside our Client Services Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing and Communications Strategy: Develop and implement an annual integrated marcoms plan to drive business growth.

  • Events and Sponsorship: Lead a comprehensive events and sponsorship strategy

  • Brand Management: Act as the custodian of the business' brand, ensuring alignment with values and identity in collaboration with the creative team.

  • Digital and Social Leadership: Guide best practices in digital marketing and online projects.

  • Data Analytics: Oversee and report to the Senior Leadership Team on data management metrics.

  • Team and Budget Management: Effectively manage the marketing team and associated budgets.

  • Project Management: Coordinate marketing projects ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.


  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Influencing and negotiation skills.

  • Passion for innovation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated experience in the professional services environment is ideal

  • Prior experience in Consulting, Professional Services, Financial Services, Technology, or Pharmaceutical industries is advantageous.
