Key Purpose of the Role:

Tate’s ambitions are driven by a collective desire to exceed the demands of our customers through extensive interactions and world class product support. The newly created role of BIM Coordinator / Engineer will work in a team of 3 BIM specialists and 7 design engineers and be of similar mindset working in a fast-paced environment where autonomy is encouraged, and performance is measured on long term projects for our strategic customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating and coordinating BIM models and CAD Drawings for projects across EMEA.

  • Representing Tate in project BIM coordination meetings/workshops with contractors, architects, and clients.

  • Produce detailed product and submittal drawings, cutting lists and other product data.

  • Work closely with other design engineers and project engineers as you aim to align design standards for our customers.

  • Support the Strategic Accounts team across EMEA with BIM support as needed.

  • Conduct construction site visits to perform surveys.

  • Any other reasonable duties as and when required and requested. The title of your job does not define or limit your employment.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level in an Engineering or Architectural Technology discipline.

  • Solid and stable experience years in a similar role would be very highly regarded

  • 3D modelling (Revit) and BIM coordination/clash detection (Navisworks) experience essential.

  • Critical thinking and problem solving.

  • Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

  • Full Irish/EU driving license.
