Host In Ireland
Executive Council
Host in Ireland is an industry-led initiative specifically developed to generate awareness and recognition of Ireland’s benefits as an optimum location to host digital assets. Executive Committee members evaluate the performance of the initiative, review, monitor and assess the progress, serve as the advocate for their specific partner companies, and gather input from and serve as a liaison with relevant constituencies.
In addition, Executive Committee members provide feedback from the community, provide technical expertise, serve as an independent, unbiased sounding board, and assist in determining important activities. Other responsibilities that members have had as part of the Executive Council include providing guidance to articulate the goals of the initiative, ensuring effective planning, and enhancing the organization’s public standing.

Arthur is inspired by the pursuit of high quality architecture and design in a global marketplace. Over the last 18 years, he has worked on an international portfolio of development schemes in a variety of countries and sectors. With the team he has built at C+W O’Brien Architects, Arthur is at the forefront of residential development in Ireland. Aware of the struggling housing market coupled with an increased scarcity in labour availability on site, Arthur and the team at C+W O’Brien began investigating the possibilities of using modular construction techniques and off-site manufacturing to improve the delivery of projects. Through experienced gained on projects C+W O’Brien Architects have developed an expertise in modular construction. The team are currently working on over 25 modular projects across the public and private sector. The global data centre services team have supported our clients by bringing over 1100MWs of IT capacity online with a further 300MWs being supported globally.

Peter is Cornwall Insight's Managing Director for Ireland and Scotland. Prior to joining, he held senior management positions in the Enel Group and the Danish Headquartered, VKR-Holding, whose specialise in advanced façade systems and solar thermal energy. During these roles, Peter has worked in global markets spanning Europe, APAC and Norther America. A mechanical engineer by training, Peter also holds a Master’s degree in Energy and Management from Dublin’s, Technological University. Matt completed a deal to bring Kedington into the ExcelRedstone Group, so now the 3 companies are one of the leading IT Infrastructure companies across Europe, ideally positioned to support their clients in Europe and beyond. Over a decade ago, Matt co-founded a charity in Kenya and he allocates a portion of his time to bringing water, health and education to thousands of children there. He is currently working on an initiative to help five thousand children regain their eye-sight.

Keppel DC REIT is the first data centre real estate investment trust (DC REIT) to be listed in Asia with facilities spanning across APAC and Europe. Gary has held numerous Senior Management positions in TeleCity and SunGard Availability Services. Gary holds a MSc in Facilities and Workplace Management.

As Kirby Group Business Development Director, Aidan J Kerins has overall responsibility for the performance of the company’s Business Development activities, through the development and execution of our sales strategy. Clarke Energy established an Irish business 15 years ago. John qualified as a Marine Engineer and has over 30 years’ experience in the international Energy and Power Generation sectors. Clarke Energy is the authorised distributor and service partner for Jenbacher gas engines. Clarke Energy is a Kohler company.
