Well that's a wrap for another year and what an event it was. Data Cloud Ireland welcomed over 1600 people to the RDS over the course of the 2 day event last week. Host In Ireland was the events headline sponsor and showcasing with us as sponsors were Mercury, Kirby, Tate & Edgeconnex.
Garry Connolly, Founder & President of Host In Ireland chaired a panel on Day 1, on Data Centres trends and challenges with panelists Bernard Geoghegan, Advisor & Consultant Data Centre Industry and Alessandra Sala, Head of Analytics & Research Nokia Bell Labs.
Michelle Wallace Head of Operations at Host In Ireland, discussed the buying process for big projects with Tony Jacob VP of Design & Construction Managing at Digital Reality, Karl Mulhall Director of Operations at Interxion Ireland, and Gary Watson Country Manager at Keppel Data Centres.
Lunch on Day 1 saw a gathering of 32 of Host In Irelands Executive Council Members enjoy delicious food and drinks at Rolys Bistro and that evening Host In Ireland welcomed over 100 invited guests to the annual networking event in Horse Show House, a fantastic evening in a fabulous venue to close off a spectacular first day of the event.
