ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a project with a client based in Sweden. This position is a remote opportunity. Due to the nature of the work and position this role can be carried out remotely with occasional travel to the client site.
Job Opportunity:
We are hiring a Planning Manager to ensure this project is effectively planned, monitored, and executed within specified timelines and budget constraints.
- Creating, maintaining, and reviewing programs.
- Meeting with the client and Teams to support planning, retrieving, and updating progress vs program.
- Discussing delays/risks and provide/retrieve pertinent info relevant to the project.
- Attend and support coordination meetings with the client and other contractors.
- Support regular program updates on internal projects platform.
- Collate and produce 3 & 6-week lookahead reports.
- Regularly track progress against baseline.
- Planning contingency programs in case timeframes change.
- Demonstrating knowledge of the construction industry.
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
- Cooperation with Project & Commercial Managers throughout the project to ensure seamless transition.
- Work remotely or attend local offices to support meetings/workshops on occasion.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Multiple years’ experience in a similar role working on Construction/Data Centre based projects.
- Risk assessment & reporting skills to enable planning & scheduling effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of control systems and Primavera P6.
- Data Centre, Construction and industry knowledge is a must.
