Part Qualified Accountant

As our Critical Infrastructure sector continues to expand both domestically and across Europe it has become vital for Moy to possess the expertise of a part qualified accountant to provide financial reporting and tax compliance support associated with large scale European projects. The role encompasses a spectrum of responsibilities, including but not limited to supporting the Finance Manager/ Finance Dept in ensuring Financial Reporting Compliance through consultation with external advisors and local finance management. 

A part qualified accountant progressing towards full qualification and registered with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA is essential. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Support the preparation of monthly Management Accounts for numerous entities 

• Reconciling and posting accounts. 

• Bank, Creditor and Debtor reconciliations 

• Cashflow Management 

• Budget preparation and Variance Analysis 

• Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations 

• Preparation of VAT returns for multiple jurisdictions 

• Preparation and Maintaining of the Fixed Asset Register 

• Other Ad Hoc responsibilities on request 

Key Skills: 

• Part Qualified Accountant studying towards qualified membership of a professional body e.g. ACA / ACCA / CIMA 

• 2 years experience working in accounting or finance roles. 

• Ambitious self-starter with positive attitude, committed to pursuing a career in accountancy and a desire to progress within the organisation 

• Detail orientated with strong financial and analytical skills 

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment 

• Organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
