The new Strategic Projects Design Engineer will be of similar mindset working in a fast-paced environment where autonomy is encouraged, and performance is measured on long term projects for our strategic customers. This role is to report to the Strategic Accounts Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating and coordinating BIM models and CAD Drawings for strategic projects across EMEA.
Responsible for new product development and updating existing products.
Produce detailed drawings, cutting lists and other production data.
Work closely with other Design departments both locally and internationally as you aim to align global design standards for our strategic customers.
Work closely with the manufacturing department.
Support the Strategic Accounts team across EMEA with technical support as needed.
Conduct construction site visits to perform surveys.

Candidate Requirements:
Educated to degree level in an Engineering or Architectural Technology discipline.
Professional experience in a construction or manufacturing environment.
Previous experience in a similar role desirable.
3D modelling experience essential (SolidWorks/Revit).
Critical thinking and problem solving.
Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good knowledge of M&E services.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Full Irish/EU driving license.
Occasional international travel.
