ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for highly motivated and driven people from various industries and backgrounds, with detailed mechanical completion and commissioning management knowledge of technical electrical, mechanical and control systems to join our business in various locations.
As a Completions & Commissioning Manager you will be part of our quality & commissioning team and with your technical and project management expertise you will ensure projects are planned and managed in a coordinated manner through mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning/handover phases. You will have prior experience managing high performing teams to achieve excellent predictable results for our customers.
This role will suit any professional living in the country where our projects are situated in Europe (Finland, Netherlands etc) or would suit anybody looking to rotate from home country.
Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end Commissioning process on projects within the mission critical sector on electrical, mechanical and controls infrastructure.
Providing our clients with reduced risk and predictable completion of their facility in line with the agreed program.
POC for all commissioning activity on the project
Able to align activities towards the safety plan and ensure team adherence to same especially PTW, SSOW and LOTO systems, etc.
Planning system completion boundaries, Piping and cabling completion techniques, commissioning package development and delivery.
Quality planning in conjunction with Quality Manager and project stakeholders to ensure understanding and adherence to project requirements and rework minimization from the outset – walkdown strategy and expectation planning.
Direct and lead internal commissioning team to achieve best results and predictable completion.
Develop commissioning plan that lists the detailed roles and responsibilities and procedures to execute the project correctly providing our customers with predictable delivery.
Work with all stakeholders (customer, internal team, engineering & design, vendors, contractors, CxA) to ensure they are contributing efficiently to the commissioning process.
Qualifications
Engineering degree desirable but not mandatory
10 years experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Control system, Building Services, Aeronautical Engineering, Marine Engineering, etc
Must have thorough knowledge in base discipline with excellent knowledge of other disciplines required to deliver technically advanced data centre MEP systems.
Will consider trade background with extensive delivery experience specifically in commissioning (15+ years).Master’s degree in engineering and/or project management.
Mission-critical facility delivery experience (data centre, oil & gas, power, pharmaceutical) is essential
